ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Tim!

WHERE I COME FROM

I am a lifelong Westerville resident. My wife Leah is as well. We were married (in Westerville) in 2007 and bought what we called our "starter house" in 2014, right here in Blendon Township. It wasn't long before we began making connections with the neighbors on our street, started attending concerts at Ridgewood Park, and became members of the Huber Ridge Area Association (HRAA). In 2016, we brought our daughter (Elie) home from St. Ann's, turning our first house into our family "home," and began to become more invested in the community where we lived.

MY CAREER

My full-time job is as a "Project Specialist for Process and Performance Improvement." It's quite a mouthful, but to briefly summarize my day: I collect and analyze data and identify trends, collaborate with others to propose solutions, and create training around these discoveries to determine how our teams can more efficiently manage our customers and work with the capital budget.

A recent achievement was the culmination of an 8-month long project with the successful rollout of a new, cloud-based phone system for a call center. I mapped the queue structure, created and led platform training, designed reports and call center statboards. I now provide ongoing platform configuration and support functions.

How does this apply to the role of trustee? Project management of this scale means collaboration with many parties to ensure there is no functional loss or downtime. This requires repeated tasks, keeping schedules, and working through the difficult and stressful periods to keep projects moving forward.

MISSION STATEMENT

A Service Mindset

I believe that the role of a Trustee is to be a civil servant, to collect your ideas and interests and determine if and how the local government can make it happen. Essentially, being a good steward of your tax dollars and being able to discern the most critical areas of focus. I believe in having open communication with residents and being willing to collaborate with them to address the needs, existing and upcoming, of our community. I believe in true "transparency," and think that the best way to truly respect you in representing you is to trust you. I believe in doing the work and not merely dictating the work.

My hope is that you also agree with these beliefs.

By engaging with the community and understanding your concerns and goals, I aim to ensure that Blendon Township remains an enviable place to live, work, and thrive.
